Aurora Hale
Hello! I'm Aurora Hale, and I write romance in all its forms—dark, supernatural, new adult, and always with a little spice. My stories tend to go to dark and taboo places, but I promise you'll always get your HEA.
I fell in love with books at twelve, when my English Literature teacher marched the whole class down to the library and made us pick something and read for an hour. Up until then, the only book I'd read was a children's Bible with my mum. I grabbed the first thing I saw, Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, and by the end of that hour I was so in love with Nora and Patch that I didn't want the lesson to end. After that, I devoured hundreds of YA and romance novels, especially anything paranormal. And the more I read, the more I caught myself thinking, wouldn't it be cool if the characters did this instead? Before long, I had a notebook full of plots I had no intention of ever writing.
Because actually writing a story felt far too daunting. Making things up was the fun part; putting them on the page was terrifying. Then one day I just went for it. I wrote a lot of genuinely awful stories into a folder on my computer, published a couple on Wattpad, and enjoyed myself so much that I kept going—until Poppy and Sebastian turned up and I just knew I had to write the story. That became my debut novel, Bad Apple.
It's out on Amazon this September, which still feels completely surreal.
So if you like dark, mysterious worlds full of romance and adventure, have a look around. There's plenty more on the way.
